Yasin Malik remains under custody, pays tribute to Adv Hussain, others | KNO

Srinagar, February 07 (KNO) : Incarcerated Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik on Thursday paid tributes to Advocate Muhammad Hussein, Muhammad Yakoob Khan (Chataiee), Ghulam Muhammad and Muhammad Maqbool Teli on their anniversaries. Recalling their sacrifices, Malik as per a statement issued to KNO said that “these martyrs sacrificed their today for our tomorrow.” Malik said that Advocate Hussein was a highly educated person who embraced martyrdom at JKLF headquarters. He expressed solidarity with their families. JKLF has also paid tributes to innocent Zahid Farooq who was martyred in 2010, on his anniversary and expressed solidarity with his bereaved family. It is pertinent to mention that Malik who was arrested yesterday while leading a protest program at Lal chowk still remains in police custody along with another JKLF senior Ghulam Muhammad Dar. Both are lodged at police station Kothi-bagh.(KNO)
